Paul is a geek entrepreneur and the founder of Azigo. He’s passionate about creating a new kind of personal agent. One that saves you time and gets you more of what you like by putting you in control of your relationships with brands. Prior to Azigo, Paul was president and co-founder of Bitstream (NASDAQ:BITS). He began his career as a research assistant at MIT Media Lab and has a BSEE from MIT.
Paul also needs a few more words to make this bio the same length as the folks to his right (kidding).
Valeska has designed web apps since 2004. She focuses in understanding people and how they interact with things in physical and digital spaces in order to design interfaces that work for them. She has deep empathy for people. You can tell she loves what she does. She studied web technologies, graphics and web design, information architecture, and human factors at Bentley, WPI, Clark University, but she claims having learned mostly while in the field, talking to people, and from her community of practice and colleagues at work. She’s obsessed with helping computers speak human.
Alex is Azigo’s principal engineer. He excels in communication and analytical skills in addition to math and programming acumen. Alex recruits, leads, and mentors a team of top-notch software engineers that develop our core product. He’s responsible for Azigo infrastructure, platform and aggregation servers. Alex is expert in the fields of Semantic Technology, Enterprise Integration, Portal, Database Management Systems and Enterprise Systems Architecture.
Sergey Kucherenko is an enthusiastic programmer. He programs for JVM platform, loves distributed systems, Scala, mathematics and cats. He obtained master degree in CS at Sevastopol National Technical University where his specialization was control theory. He’s an integral part of Azigo’s Ukrainian team. Before Azigo he had a working experience as a web developer.
Lu enjoys playing with semantic markup language such as HMTL, CSS, and etc. She earned her Master degree in Computer System Engineering from Northeastern University in 2012. In the past three years, she perfected her programming skills through internships at EMC Corporation, OwnerIQ Inc, and China Mobile Media Technology Inc as software developer. At Azigo, Lu focus on production, maintenance and improvement of the core web application front-end.
Rui implements the beautiful designs from Valeska. She graduated from Northeastern University with an MS of Information Systems, where she focused on web-based application technologies. Prior to Azigo, she worked at Wellington Management as System Analyst, where she developed a passion for designing user-friendly systems. She interned at the Bank of China and Windham Capital Management Company.
